Mr Adam Way is a consultant spinal surgeon specialising in neck and lower back pain. His surgical practice concentrates on the use of minimally invasive techniques. He performs the full range of spinal operations, ranging from injections, vertobroplasty/kyphoplasty, cervical disc replacement or fusion and lumbar microdiscectomies, to decompressions and fusions. Mr Way’s NHS practice is based at Frimley Park Hospital.
Mr Way attended Sheffield University Medical School and did his basic surgical training at RNOH, Stanmore, Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow and NHNN, Queen Square. He studied for his MSc in Surgical Sciences at University College London and then went on to Higher Surgical Training at Barts and the Royal London Hospital. He concentrated his registrar training to becoming a spinal surgeon, spending 2 years on the spinal unit at Stanmore and then did a further 1 year advanced spinal surgery fellowship.
Adam has nationally and internationally published and lectured on spinal and trauma surgery and examines and interviews for the London and KSS Deaneries. He is on the executive board of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons’ as Membership Secretary.

Adam is married with 3 children. He enjoys Formula 1, watching rugby and travelling.
